Tilda Calender for my Best Friend

Happy Christmas Eve everyone...

Its a beautiful time here in Colorado and we are having

a white Christmas here!

We are celebrating here in Denver with the local family

and then flying out Christmas day to spend time with my mom

and extended family in Texas.

We fly back New Years Eve,

celebrate the new year ringing in at home with our immediate family,

then will open up our home to friends and family in Denver to

celebrate New Years day with food and FOOTBALL!

I promised another calender,

this one for my very best friend in Texas
(Im excited to get to hand deliver it)

I made this one with her tastes in mind...

She leans toward a vintage feel without a huge amount of embellishments.

I got the calender from my local Christian store
I used some precut lace trimmed paper and
wish I could tell you more about it,
but I covered up the name with magnetic strips...LOL
I inked the edges to give it the vintage feel
Patterned DP's from Colorbok
I used my Tim Holtz paper distresser on the papers
Tim Holtz Die Cuts
Fluffy trim and gold embellishments are from my stash

Funny... I normally LOAD ON the embellishments,
but I am really liking the simplicity of this :)

I will be entering these challenges:
