Personal Card for Family Member

Hello Friends...

This is a card I created with a family member in mind... my husband has a sister who estranged herself from the family over 10 years ago and now wants to come back and rekindle what has been lost. I felt it an honor to make her a card, welcoming her back! I have never met her, but am excited to do so... and I love the excitement in my husband and son who have missed her terribly and are anxious for Tuesday to come when she and her fiance will be over for dinner with the whole family here! Lasagna for all!!!

Funny thing... my son asked what kind of card I was making as I was coloring the image. I told him who it was for and he started looking around my scraproom for the box I keep my listed cards in. When he found it he started pulling out cards saying, "I want you to make it like this one and do this to it (as he pointed to an embellishment), oh, and make a box for it and decorate it like the card please." Does he sound excited to see her or what!?
