GDT Invite from Creative Craft Challenges

I was very pleased to win a challenge on the blog challenge http://creativecraftchallenges2.blogspot.com/ and was offered a GDT opportunity. I have to say when I was asked to do a distressed project I freaked, as I had never done one. I looked at a turtorial on this blog: http://gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/ (the scrapbook Goddess blog) and waaaaa laaaaaa.... here is my first distressed card project. Thanks Creative Craft Challenge for pushing me past my cutsie comfort zone!

I was asked to use a LOTV image and this was the only one I had.

This is a torn section exposing doillie

and embellished with tiny flowers

Vintage button and die cut distressed butterfly

 This shows a side view of the corner fold over and lovely embellies!

Oh I just love the detailing :)
