I took a tiny hiatis from Vintage for a day, 2 projects and then it crept back into my creative little head last night! Heres what happened from that...
This is a Vintage Wedding or Wedding Shower Card
with a sweet little Tilda flower girl
holding the hand of the Bride...
It is a Gatefold Card with 3 seperate pieces
that unite together to make one
beautiful card for presentation.
This is the card at presentation
The 3 seperate pieces include:
The belly band that is wrapped around the card holding it together...
The main card with 5 panels...
and the pull out secret journeling tag tucked in a pocket behind the Tildas panel.
I have inked the edges of everything to give that lovely vintage look...
Notice the "Love" charm
This is front focal point with an absolutely perfect
sentiment for the occassion..
The flowers are from Prima, Reccollection and WOC's...
Notice the matching stick pin and the vintage lace
This is the main portion of the card showing the
lovely little Tilda girl and theTilda Bride...
On either side of the middle panel are 2 white panels that have been inked,
that space is for a personal sentiment.
The Tildas have been embellished as much as possible,
however this internal section must remain as flat as possible for the card to close properly.
I have used some low laying Recollection flowers and pearl swirls,
as well as torn and inked the paper exposing a hint of lace.
I just LOVE this image!
Notice the hint of blue around the image.
This is showing the pull out tag and the sentiment
This is showing the entire set of all 3 pieces
that come together to make what you see below...
