here is a little easel card box that I made last night for a Tilda challenge. Yes, this is the 3rd easel card box I have made this week, but I like how special they are for the reciepiant.... much more like a keepsake than just a card.
This is my first try at coloring pleats.... it has to get better!
I bordered my circle die cut with a pink lace
and then a fabric floral trim on top.
I do love how the grass and flowers came out!
I started out not liking the direction I was going
with this card, but ended up loving
how it all came together.
It is so fun the get to find a way
to decorate the sides of the box!
I picked a pretty fabric, mint green rosette trim.
A view looking down on this easel card box
When you take the easel card top off the box...
there is a lovely surprise inside...
A Happy Mothers Day message!
I colored the stamped message just as I did
on the topper with the little Tilda.
Thanks to my new friend Vix for helping me get the
blending better....
I know theres still much more to learn,
but I like it so far!
This view shows the easel card opened
and the inside of the box showing at the same time.
This shows the easel closed in the down position
with the inside of the box in the background.
This card was created for this challenge:
